Hundred Fifth Explosion
[Action]
[OH and this is probably backdated to sometime in the earlier afternoon.
So Haruki has been in hiding since the end of the AU event. To be fair, he thinks he has good reason. What he doesn't suspect, or perhaps is still in denial about is the the other night... (which is a much longer thread in full and totally work safe and such if you're curious even if it's not quite done yet) and the deadly consequences of these actions. So now, coming out of the woods (he took to checking out some caves... quietly... the other day) he comes across-
His doom. From a distance, you might have heard him SCREAM in pain and horror, but by the time any character arrives, the deed will have been done. Do feel to find him at the edge of the forest in... the follow state:
Haruki is frozen solid. Yes, ice coats his entire body. His face is frozen into a face of terror and there's some minor cuts on his face and arms. His shirt looks like it's been partially ripped in a few places as if by a sword. His journal lays to his side with a hole stabbed through it by... something. But perhaps what is more shocking than him being frozen solid is that... the whole tree around him is also frozen solid. Yes, the whole tree (which also has a few chips and such in the bark) is all frozen along with him, leaving him quite stuck.
So yes, you might have heard the scream! You must just be here by chance! But either way come and marvel at the amazing frozen Haruki. Maybe talk to others who have rushed to see this scene too. And perhaps help him out of concern because, y'know, frostbite isn't a good thing
Or if it suits your fancy perhaps you can run into him after he starts to recoverI just need to figure out... where he ends up
EDIT Oh but feel free to break time and find him twice if you want. Free him twice too. It's all good]

Which he is.]

He notices Haruki observing him... And puts a hand over his eyes and forehead, another hand, the one still with his own blood from the small injuries in his neck, on his own forehead.]
I think... It won't be too bad...
[He will probably end with a cold anyway. But maybe nothing worse.]

We should let him rest.
no subject
Good idea.
[He will be going to the living room now. To the couch where he has been sleeping for a while now, still not wanting to look at Minato. But he can't just remain silent either, can he?]
Thank you, Minato-kun.
[For saving Haruki when he was unable to do anything himself.]

I'm sorry.

Keiichi sighs and rubs his eyes with a hand.]
Why? I... I already knew you had something you didn't want to talk about but...
[Why didn't he mention that before? Long before.]
no subject
[okay so he's a little put out about that even if he couldn't have really expected Keiichi to listen. ...] ...It looks worse than it is. But it's not something I want to have to use.

You fucking shot yourself in the head!! How would have me closing my eyes changed that!? You never even mentioned you had a fucking gun!
I tell you everything I frigging know about the syndrome! About Rena, about my world! And you didn't even consider once that it could have been a good idea to at least mention that?!
no subject
I'd just met you then, Keiichi-kun. You had other things to worry about.
no subject
We met in fucking April!! That was four months ago! And in all this time you really never considered it worth mention??
I thought we were friends!

I keep it quiet because it causes trouble like this. People get upset or too interested. [.......] Someone broke my arm once because they saw my power and wanted it themselves.

Friends don't keep secrets from one another, right?
Of course not!
You lie. I know what you did before you moved here. Why did you keep that a secret from us? Aren't friends supposed to not keep secrets? A person like you isn't my friend!
That's right. Friends don't keep secrets. But there are things that are better to not tell around, right? Didn't he tell Minato that same thing?
But there are still things in this world that aren't for sharing and thus that she should never be told about. Specially if they are things she can't find out on her own.
That's right, he had... He had once thought that. No. He still thinks that, because that's how things are. Keiichi rubs his eyes with one hand again... And lets himself fall over the couch, sitting on it heavily. Minato is his friend. He listens to him, he wanted to help protect Rena, he has been there when Keiichi has asked for it.]
Yes... We are friends.
[Friends trust each other, but not because they hold no secrets but because they don't need to know everything about the other to trust them.]
I'm sorry, Minato-kun... But I really would haven't got upset or try anything against you for that... I mean, you could have been upset or tried anything against Rena or me upon finding out about the syndrome and you didn't.
I...
I'm sorry.
no subject
Don't be. ...You had a point too.
[Minato sticks his hands back in his pockets, then takes a seat on the other end of the couch.]
I'll answer whatever you want to know.
no subject
Why like that?
[Why by shooting himself in the temple? Why not something less... Traumatic. Something that would make him freak out because of the giant, not leave him as he's now. Where the giant with the sword is actually the less important thing in his mind.]
no subject
[It would be a lot easier if it weren't. It's one thing when it was just them in Tartarus... here, the shape keeps getting him in trouble.]
no subject
Personas?
no subject
no subject
Keiichi frowns a bit as he listens. Pieces of the soul? A mask used to face life? Made physical? He scratches his head. Let him think for a moment.]
So...
[Thinking, thinking.]
Uh... No. That doesn't make sense.
[Frowns, so confusing!]
Pieces of the soul but we use them as a mask to face life? How does that make sense? I mean, I get that we use masks, it's... It's not hard to understand. It's natural, if we expose ourselves carelessly we may end broken.
But those masks are created more or less consciously, by the mind. If we talk about pieces of the soul, shouldn't those Personas be the inner part of us we try to hide out of fear of having them hurt? But they aren't really weak, and can be stronger than anything else if let shine to the outside, if we drop the masks and show them, but because how society is that is... Well, hard.
So that Evoker would be... Destroying the masks one creates around that inner part to let it free and shine, and that Persona protects... No, fights alongside you?
[Pause. That doesn't really make sense either.]
I don't think I should try to understand this after all...

Okay... I think. A part of yourself that normally remains inside you and that you liberate... Or summon by shooting yourself in the head.
[Yeah, still the most important thing here is the shooting in the head part.]
Uh... Are... Are others from your world here?
[Is there a risk of him meeting other people who will go around happily shooting themselves in the head to use their powers or something? He doesn't want names or a number, just to know if there are more. Really.]

Yes. ...My senpai is the one who froze Haruki.
no subject
... You have more than one senpai here, right?
