[Haruki is perterbed. Today, after all, there wasn't a Hanyuu at the daily meeting. In fact this isn't terribly uncommon: she's missed a few of them since Rika poofed. But today somehow felt different. Thus, after he called it quits and had everyone file out he came on back to HQ in the evening, alone. Once there, he discovered (a per this) a collection of Hanyuu's punishment game work stuffed into one of the shelves on the bookshelf.

...Well that's weird.

What's more, there's notes and- This is-] What- [... he reads it again and then again and then finally crumples all of the notes into one big wad of paper and throws it across the room] Stop screwing with me. You're kidding. What the- What the hell is this crap! [And at that he punches the bookshelf. When he does it rocks against the wall before a couple of things on some of the highest shelves fall off. But after that he doesn't pick them up, he just looks down at the table to see that his journal is open and-

...] Damn aliens. This isn't fair. [And then he slams it shut.] Damn aliens. [Rika and Hanyuu too? And Mikey and Shinpachi and Yuzuriha and ... Forget this. Forget this. He's had enough.

[To be honest... Haruki still isn't 100% better. He's still not cool with Rena yet, not to mention anyone he happened to piss off when he was sulking. But there's stuff to be done; it's Christmas after all. And thus, he coughs before starting this awkwardly with-]

You know, plenty of you folks lack dates for Christmas, don't you? Huh... Well, whatever.

[A pause, and then he continues without abandon to the next part-] Christmas is a vasly inferior holiday to the likes of Tanabata or even Obon, but so long as there is something to celebrate, we might as well roll with it, right?! I mean, I never knew the Christian story behind it in detail, but that makes it so much more interesting. A mystery, even! How could those guys all see starts to lead them to a baby? A virgin that got knocked up? Makes me wish that someone from that time had showed up here at some point... [...A pause, annd then a sigh-] Well, whatever.

More importantly... getting ready for New Years after that. And anything the Organization or John does by way of a "celebration" for Christmas. You guys ever noticed they like American holidays?

Alright SOS-Brigade! This Christmas we're going with something special and more awesome than anything ever seen for any Christmas since the birth of that Jesus guy! We're going to be forming a superior crack-team of super sentai Santas! We're going to be the SOS-S3! And with out might, we're going to spread holiday cheer and more importantly needed positive sentiment around the village.

Our mission will be to provide gifts to people, assist people who look like losers, and set people up on blind-dates. Your first objective will be met by the 20th of December. You will recruit as many people as you can to sign up for a mass blind date. A free gift! What's more, you will do this dressed as a SOS-S3-Santa suit which will be supplied for you in the next three days.

Whoever amasses the most names will be the victor of round one of this competition! Whoever wins the best two out of three rounds will be the Brigade Chief for the week following the first of January! Your roles will be as follows:

[Haruki is currently walking around the dining room of House #10. Weird stuff has happened lately, so he's going back to basics. Thing is, he meant to make a voice entry, but stopped before he ever started. As such, the journal records this. He's currently at the make-shift pen thing they have set up for Sekai - his chick - here in the kitchen. He's making sure she's getting fed, so you might hear some chirps here before-]

[There's a chirp there before he sighs and shrugs This next part is said to the chick and therefore not at the journal, so he might not be that easy to make out everything perfectly] I mean, Tear's up and gotten kidnapped, Shion's MIA, Miu's MIA, Yuzu's... [... He pauses there, and groans] Whatever. That snowboarding thing was pretty fun.... [Well that reminds him-] At least Chikane's taken over the Seventh Heaven. She can cook even if she's a weirdo. I mean who molests someone's win- [...Wait] Dammit. [There's a chirp there! It seems confused, as far as chirps go]

[...Wait. Wait. That just. No. He grunts before looking back at the book and blushing. Hr forgot it was there, briefly, He scrambles get up to the table there and looks at the journal with a taken aback face - his first photo in this entry]

So who thinks the Malnosso/Organization have been getting stupidly uninspired lately?! I mean, really, a lot of the more recent experiments have been John's doing or that invasion or other stuff like that. I mean the last experiments where that suggestion thing in later July, that body swap in later September, and the last one before that was all the way back in June, which... [...Which he has a horrible memory during, so he falls silent before sighing. He regains his mojo quickly though]

But still! Hypnosis? Body swap?! What is this, a children's show?! I mean those are so generic and cliche! In the past we got stuff like say people going crazy or... well the point is the Organization are a bunch of ignorant rat-bastards! I mean come on, I could be a better evil overlord than that. I could think of better experiments. Bet all of you could too. [...Actually-]

Like say... like say an experiment where the village disappears! Everyone wakes up naked in a large plot of land and we need to fend for ourselves for a week! It'd be like a survival reality show except not fake! Or maybe an experiment in which half the town becomes telepathic and the other half becomes like [...] Oh, I got! Half the town becomes a telepath so strongly for one other individual they feel everything they do. But they can't eat, so they need to rely on the other person to keep them alive!

Oh like! And experiment in which people's right hand gets replaced with someone else's right hand, and then when you find and get back your own right hand, if you put it back in place you turn into a kappa! Come on, something cool like that!c

You know, that egg project was pretty stupid. I mean, I guess it was okay and all but who really wants to have a kid here? I mean- [...A grunt, and then he pauses before switching this thing off. The post pauses for a time because he's going to the kitchen. It'll come back on with him chopping up something to make for dinner today. This irksome, because he seems to be staring on the counter-]

I mean, what do we even do with the eggs now? Sekai's just an egg, right? Not like she can be... [Hnn. He grunts there, and then shuts the journal again. This is stupid. He doesn't even want to make an entry like this. The post then is silent for about twenty minutes before it cuts in again, this time with him looking straight into the journal-]

God powers strike again. Haruki's egg Sekai (which he took home anyway despite the project being over) has hatched. This, however, is because it was always fertile, merely no one was aware of it until just now. Everyone merely assumed it didn't have a chick in there because all the others didn't. [This is a special open-action post. Namely, this post takes place DURING today's SOS-Brigade meeting. I figure it's a good way to explore the Brigade's interactions with each other there. There's two important bits of info that Haruki is hitting up today. The first is him going into detail about the favor that the SOS-Brigade has to fulfill with Gokudera about throwing a party for Tsuna. He'll be writing some key notes on the white board (or rather forcing someone else, I'd think Yuzu, to do that) and then taking a few odd suggestions before he gets to the second order of business-

The fact of the matter is that well past when the meeting is ended and until he hears back from Guy (and maybe after that finishes, even, coming back) he's sitting in the SOS-Brigade HQ, his back to the front door so he's staring out the big window he had Walter install at the end of the table. His science homework that he was complaining about above is sitting on the table largely finished. His absent-mindedly did it during the Brigade meeting.

Because he's been in a sulk mood all day. Head on the desk in class, not talking to anyone at home before school, and cutting the meeting off early with some bullshit excuse once it got time for the Brigade.]

Thing is, I mean I hadn't been here all that long last summer but I seem to remember something similar happening last summer. [Pause, grunt, and then some clothes rustling] Doesn't look like rain today.... Oi! Rena! Shiki! Porcupine! Any and all members of the SOS-Brigade! Summer's no good if you don't enjoy it properly, so in the absence of a public pool we're going swimming at the main lake! [Another pause, and then a sigh] When it warms up or something. [There's some fain sound of rain in the background of this. Clearly if not outside, Haruki is sitting somewhere which isn't entirely indoors or anything. He's most likely hanging out somewhere like the clubroom, checking out Walter's repairs and such]

The rain is kinda lame. I mean three days? Summer showers are one thing, but this getting stupid. I mean it made the Brigade tour yesterday a nightmare! Jeez! Stupid aliens, I bet they're controlling the weather or something. Damn aliens. Almost makes you wish there was school or something; you can't go out jogging or anything like this.

[...Grunt. And then he pauses before he goes on to the important part]

Oi Luceti! Anyone got some kinda good way to play music which isn't straight out of the seventeenth century?! Because I mean, come on guys, it's SUMMER and a lot of us are Japanese teenagers! ...You know, there's a lot of shooting stars tonight. I should make a wish or something. It's less sure-fire than Tanabat but at least it won't take sixteen years. ...Jeez. Sixteen years is a long time.

[...He says this in wonder, almost. This takes place rather late at night. Well not too late, but late enough that the stars are out and he's looking up at them... from the roof of House #10. He went up there with his step-ladder again like when he was mending the roof. He's watching the meteor shower thing tonight]

[Haruki is sitting on the far outskirts of town, probably alone. He is trembling, though it is hard to tell if there is more fear or rage in his shaking.

On the far outskirts of the village in the grassy part which is near the forest, for the last few days with help from Taichi and Excellen Haruki has made a huge symbol with chalk and one of those baseball line machines as a message for aliens outside of Luceti. He... knows logically it shouldn't work, but at this point he is so, so hopeful that it will that he can't take it. Because while the first murder was interesting and mysterious, five more and...]

[Voiced]

[His voice, it sounds so broken] SOS-Brigade. Follow that Sigmund guy's lead. Get down to the tunnels. That's an order.

[...As for him, he's going to keep sitting here, wishing, praying for an alien or a hero or something to save them from this]

[Accidental Written]

[This wasn't written in the journal, but rather on a piece of paper that Haruki then stuck in his journal in frustration. Because of this, before he properly shut it the journal took a "photo" of the paper the same way that it is supposed to take photos of people's faces while making entries. Thus while shadows cover some of it, there is an incomplete passage which can be read:]

-- And here Cloud hesitated. This was, after all, not what he had intended. He had merely intended to see how the woman in front of him was doing. Planning to... He wasn't sure anymore. He only saw one thing in front of him at that was the blonde woman in front of him. The beautiful blonde woman who was stepping out of the shower... naked. This woman who he knew wasn't supposed to, wasn't--

Time seemed to be standing still as Cloud stared at Stella's exposed chest. Senel was kid-- oh right that was is. That was way he had come. He tried to open his mouth to say something, but nothing came out, so with a furious blush he looked away. Stella to her credit didn't say anything. However...

[Anything after this is heavily crossed out because he wasn't satisfied with it and then there is a note in the margins that says "She wouldn't cheat."]

[Haruki shut his journal with a snort. He had been looking at old entries of Cloud and Stella to help with his writing, but he just wasn't feeling it. Not to mention that his current work was too OOC to really be either of them. This sucked. This place was SO BORING. He sighed and flopped onto the main table of House #10, melancholy and thinking too much and bored. He hated it here, so much.

Anyone in House #10 (Kyonko, Rena, Hanyuu) or anyone stopping by there feel free to poke him]

[Haruki's not officially out of the clinic and back at House #10 now. Thanks to Usagi's help, he can speak again, and he took the liberty of taking back to the house whatever Kyonko or the others might've taken to the clinic with him too. His right hand is still busted, obviously, as there are still bandages on his head, but his eyes are alight and he can walk properly again. Please note that (most likely due to minor brain damage) his voice is still a little slurred even here]

Attention members of the SOS-Brigade!! I have returned back to our home base following my unfortunate abduction by our local aliens and my recovery from their actions! As such, this is your last chance to give me a suitable recovery gift, seeing as how my right hand is still busted up a bit.
